This policy describes how this website works today. Have it reviewed before launch.
Who is responsible
The controller for data processing on this website is the operator named in the legal notice.
Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, which processes data on my behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which covers the transfer of data to the USA (Art. 45 GDPR). When you visit a page, the server records technical data such as your IP address, the page requested, date and time, and your browser type. This is necessary to deliver the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is deleted after a short period.
Region preference
The site shows currency, budget ranges and contact options for your region. When a page is requested, the hosting provider’s network works out your country from your IP address. Your IP address is not stored or passed on for this (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you choose a region yourself, a small cookie called “region” remembers your choice for six months. It is strictly necessary for the function you asked for (§ 25(2) TDDDG) and contains nothing else.
Contact form and email
When you send the project brief or an email, I process the details you provide to reply to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Form messages are delivered by an email service provider acting on my behalf. I keep enquiries for as long as needed to answer them and as required by law.
If you message me on WhatsApp, your phone number and messages are processed by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) under its own privacy policy, and data may be transferred to the USA. I use your messages only to reply to you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you prefer, write by email or use the form instead.
No tracking
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it loads no fonts or scripts from third-party servers. Fonts are hosted on this site.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
